Angels (or lesser angels) are the lowest rank of the divine hierarchy, but spend the most time on the material plane. 5e Devas and Planetars make up some members of this group. Angels often deal in the affairs of individuals or very small groups and often come as messengers or personal guardians.

Some Angels watch over and guide individuals from birth to death. Guardian Angels can either be lesser angels or Principality, if they watch over a group or nation. Guardian Angels protect their assignees from the influence of the lower planes.
The Deva or Planetar statblock can be used for an angel.
